A filter is used in different ways and is very useful in keeping any nasty things from contaminating our food and drink. Filter water is now really popular and is fitted in many homes, either retrospectively fitted or in a new build.

Plumb in and Mount.

Note: Check that your water pressure meets the minimum / maximum pressures required by the manufacturer.

After closing off the cold and hot water feed, drain the pipes of all water. If it is a first time installation, then there may have to be a modification made to the pipes in order that will fit. Undo the mixer unit and its associated pipework. Disconnect the fitted mixer tap and all its pipes. Kilburn Plumbers can install filter units. Put the top mount gasket at the base of the tap and place in the hole for the tap. Making sure it is in correct position, fix securely with the horseshoe plate, together with the supplied washers. Next make the connection with the supplied flexi-pipes with the cold and hot water connections. Now connect the water hoses that go from and to the filter unit. You can now turn the water supply back on. Give the installation a visual inspection, then switch on the filter tap and flush through using both the cold and the hot taps. A Kilburn Plumber fits filter units and associated fittings. *The filter unit itself needs, ideally to be mounted somewhere under the sink being held securely in its own bracket. This allows a nice and easy connection to the plumbing. It can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. *The all in one tap consists of a new triple outlet tap, with flexible pipe tails and mounting brackets for the tap and filter unit. It also has flexible water hoses which are used to supply the filtered water.
